You will be continuously called upon to provide our CEO and our Executive Team with the information needed to make fully informed decisions. REQUIREMENTS
- Located in Atlanta, GA. Metropolitan Area or willing to relocate/travel for meetings once a week.
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting or Finance.
- Knowledge with Quickbooks
- Avdanced/Expert knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping.
- Experience in Leadership.
This is an outsourcing role, you'd be assigned to one of our Clients to perform the following duties for their business:
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with our Fractional CFO external partner to ensure financial strategies are in harmony with the unique demands of our various ventures, fostering sustainable growth and financial stability.
- Internal Accounting Controls and Facilitation: Manage the day to day financial operations of our various businesses leveraging the human capital and technology resources available, while also consistently striving to innovate.
- Budgeting and Forecasting Leadership: Take the lead in the budgeting process across our various businesses, partnering with a variety of departments to create comprehensive financial plans. Utilize forecasting to anticipate financial trends and optimize resource allocation.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Champion strict adherence to financial regulations, accounting principles, and legal requirements, safeguarding the financial integrity of our operations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial goals and foster a collaborative environment focused on financial success.
- External Partner Liaison: Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration with our Fractional CFO external partner, leveraging their expertise for mutual success.
Ongoing Tasks:
- Accounts Payable (including purchase orders and vendor records maintenance)
- Reviewing Quickbooks Online for input accuracy
- Analyze monthly reports
- Financial performance and operational analysis
- Prepare the annual budget and oversee the audit process
- Maintain financial documents
- New vendor setup and maintenance
- Deposit and cash reporting
- Sales Tax Preparation and Filing
- Local Tax Preparation
- Management of the expense request and reimbursement process in partnership with human resources
- Assign company cards to designated personal and review expenses as necessary
- Monitor email inbox to ensure quick and accurate communication with external stakeholders
- Suggest process improvements and better ways of completing tasks
- Create and document new processes and updates to old processes
- Commit to consistently growing and improving
- Act as accounting liaison to other team members/coworkers as well as external accounting support
- Oversee and manage an accounting team of 1-2 workers
